My old Minor has been in the same ownership for many years. The owner tried to sell it in 2002 and these are the pictures:

The car looks quite tidy and very much as how I had it. The rear indicators are different.

In May of 2006 the car appeared on Ebay.

Here is the text and pictures:

CUSTOM  MORRIS MINOR 2.OL TWIN CAM

MY BELOVED MORRIS MINOR IS UP FOR GRABS. THIS CAR WILL MAKE A GREAT PROJECT AS I'VE RUN OUT OF ROOM AND CANT FIND THE TIME TO START IT.WHEN THIS CAR WAS FIRST CONVERTED THE ORIGINAL OWNER  TOOK IT TO MANY SHOWS ROUND THE COUNTRY, AND HAS FREQUENTED MANY DRAG STRIPS IN THE UK AND DID THE QUARTER MILE IN 15.97 SECS.

THE CAR HAS BEEN STRIPPED BUT ALL PARTS ARE THERE ACCEPT FOR THE REAR WINDOW, WING AND TWO BUCKET SEATS, THIS CAR  NEEDS WELDING  THE RADIATOR PUTTING ON AND THE WIRING PUTTING BACK ON.  THE EXHAUST HAS BEEN TAKEN OFF, THE DRIVE SHAFT HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM THE GEAR BOX ALSO THE GEAR BOX MOUNT HAS BEEN LOOSENED, SO YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE A RECOVERY TRUCK TO TAKE THIS AWAY, BUT ALL OF THE CAR IS THERE .THE CAR HAS BEEN SAT ON FLATS FOR A WHILE ALTHOUGHT THEY DO GO UP THEY LEAK AIR OUT OF THE SIDE WALLS. ITS BEEN STORED IN A BARN FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS UNTIL I BROUGHT IT HOME 4 MONTHS AGO WHERE ITS BEEN ON MY DRIVE UNDER A SHEET SINCE

The car looks a lot worse here, but only because it has been stored and partially stripped.

The Fiat Twin Cam Engine

The Fiat Twin Cam Engine. I had a single 45 DCOE on when I sold it. That looks like a standard
carburetor with a very restrictive air filter. The fan is the original that I mounted.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A pile of bits!

It looks like all the parts are there to rebuild the car.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The inner wing.

It looks like it needs a full restoration.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

More bits.

A pile of bits.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The roll cage.

The roll cage is still with the car.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The interior.

The door panel looks like the original green dralon that I had in the car. The green Hammerite
on the wheel arch is also mine!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The inside.

It needs work.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

More rust.

Some welding is required down there!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My pictures.

My pictures. The written sheet on the right is the specification I supplied when I sold the car.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The car eventually sold for £425. Robin did say he was tempted to buy it and to be honest it would be very nice to see the car restored. I hope the new owner does get it back on the road and I can see it again.
